R: Everytime I go out with my co-worker W, it seems, I get really really drunk. Tonight was no exception. And that was really stupid of me. When I showed up for my dinner reservation with Q at ABC Kitchen, I was, as Q puts it, "very affectionate and funny." I'm hoping I didn't make to big a fool of myself. I do remember ordering a steak and forgetting how I liked it cooked. "Medium, medium-, uh...oh hell just cook it medium."
C: M was working at the wine store again, so I met him in Coolidge Corner after work. We have been exploiting the beautiful weather and doing a lot of walking; on our way to the apartment, we stopped by Temptations Cafe, a cute, new counter-service restaurant. The decor is relatively clean and modern, with funky light fixtures that remind me of octopus tentacles. With a handful of hot and cold sandwiches and wraps on the menu, it was a perfect dinner for a 95 degree day. I'll be back for the breakfast menu.
