R: The only thing my boss said to S and I when he saw our desk fort yesterday was, "decorate the back or else it will look tacky," meaning he wanted us to decorate the backs of our desks, which face the main part of the data center. Luckily, I had already cut up a poster just for such an occasion. Today when I came in to work, S showed me the post-it note my boss had left him: "S, take hint from R's beautification." Win.
C: Our office threw a big luncheon party today for three of our staff members: Stacie, an expectant mother; Lylo, who starts med school this Fall; and Sugarland, since he's getting married on Monday. Of course, Sugar managed to miss his own party, but we saved a balloon for him...
