R: V and I decided that we definitely needed a partition for the living room to separate my area from the shared area. I had held on to the idea of a curtain track as a partition, but that fell through when I found out the ceiling is made of concrete. Oh well, we can't always have our druthers. I was forced to buy shoji screens instead, and after setting them up today, I've decided they look pretty good after all.

C: Still in recovery, I took a slow, hungry morning at home. This is one of the few - I think less than five - mensiversaries when M and me haven't been in the same place. Thankfully, SaMen was happy to spend time with me. We spent the greater part of the afternoon snacking on watermelon and lemon Italian ice and browsing the various craft-indie-vintage stalls and merchants at the SoWa Open Market in the South End.
