R: Another Creative Monday, and I spent it semi-productively. I woke up late and took a while to get moving as usual. But I managed to be clean and put together before heading out to Tribeca for more pottery painting and to pick up my last piece - a plate. When I got there, the woman working at the store told me that my plate was ready but just in the back. I told her I would pick it up after I painted a new piece, but B showed up and we decided to grab lunch first. Mmm pho...
When we got back, B wanted to see my plate so I asked the woman if she could bring it out. She did, and I was pretty impressed with my plate until B pointed out something I had not intended (which I won't repeat so as not to put the same thought in your head). He's such a ruiner. Ah, well. I'll try not to let the thought whir around in my head every time I look at the plate like an obsessive psycho.
Dammit. Too late.
The women's race was more exciting to me, not only because I can more closely appreciate the run from their perspective, but also because Erkesso and Pushkareva (sp?) battled it out from Coolidge Corner to Copley, completing the race within three seconds of one another. Best part of the day - I could literally walk to the corner of my street to see them go by, and then I watched the end from the comfort of my sofa in between editing a training presentation for research ethics.
