R: "Tut tut it looks like rain" - Winnie-the-Pooh
C: Lina stopped by today for brunch/lunch. I fixed some blackberry yogurt smoothies/concoctions (M tells me it doesn't count as a smoothie if I don't use crushed ice) and made a vegetable and pancetta frittata. Sometimes it scares me how excited I can become when an opportunity to be domestic arises. This lovely piping tip is #61, curve; it is perfect for creating a generic flower petal. As a Christmas gift, M's mom got me this lovely Martha Stewart Collection Cake Decorating Kit (the packaging promises "For having your cake and decorating it too"). I haven't had a legit reason to use it just yet, but I know that friends' birthdays are happening in no time, so I better get practicing now. If you have a birthday happening in the next month or sooner, let me know-I'd love to make you a cake.
