R: Obligatory shot of the Boston city-scape. Last day before my trip back to New York and C and I spent a very loosely planned afternoon in the city. After meeting up with B - who was in Boston for work-related activities - we had a rather domestic adventure in B's rented Town and Country to Home Depot. It reminded me a lot of growing up in Roanoke and our random and frequent trips to Target and Wal-Mart, which were instigated by the regular onset of boredom. Good hometown fun.

C: I took a personal day today since R was visiting, and I need to use them before I leave Harvard anyway. After a rather humid (for Boston) weekend, today was relatively cool and windy - by mid-afternoon, R, B and I got caught in a sudden bout of clouds and rain. We quickly sought refuge in a parking garage where B was parked. Without any other plans, we agreed to let him take us to Home Depot, swinging by Newbury to pick M up too. By the time we returned from Home Depot to return the car, the storm had subsided, and we had a lovely view of the docks behind the Aquarium, near the waterfront.
