R: As a last hoorah BK and I went on a Staples and McDonald's odyssey. I think I'm addicted to long lunches...Also, this particular McDonald's had the scariest sculpture in the middle of it - the messiah-like Ronald McDonald in the middle of this mess is even scarier upright.

C: Athena has been acting out in annoyingly unsanitary ways when her litterbox isn't cleaned in a timely manner. My fault for raising an obsessive-compulsive cat, I suppose. I thought the little monster could use a little calming, so I stopped by the pet store today to pick her up some catnip. Watching her literally snatch the bag of kitty crack out of my hands was a sure sign that she appreciated the gesture.
