R: Spent the afternoon finishing Her Fearful Symmetry in Washington Square Park. Usually I avoid the inevitable sunshine crowd, but I was feeling lazy and the options for open, semi-green spaces are pretty limited downtown. Thus, I grabbed a coconut tiger shrimp sandwich (so much yummier than it sounds) at the Cambodian place on 12th street and took my chances with the undesirables. It was an uneventful few hours with my book, but I did happen to look up just as Tic and Tac were starting their late afternoon show. I've never actually seen their show but I've been in the park when they were performing on several occasions. They are true showmen as any casual observer could tell you based on the ring of people they draw every weekend to watch them dance and crack jokes. From what I've been able to piece together from my typical vantage point sitting just outside the standing audience, they're very acrobatic fellas.

C: Happy Easter! A little luck found us as we took a lazy afternoon in Dean Park.
