R: It was V's last day in the city, so I met up with her for a late lunch/early dinner after interviewing E. I let V decide where to go, mostly because I am too lazy to spend the time finding somewhere new, and she found a Cambodian sandwich place in the Union Square area. It was more or less a whole in the wall, but I was very satisfied with my pork belly and Asian pear sandwich and "Asian-style" corn on the cob (basically Mexican corn with more mayo and coconut shavings).
The only real decorations in the upstairs seating area were chalkboard sketches and scribbles on a cross-beam. Weird

C: M surprised me today by making homemade pasta with sausage, lima beans, cremini mushrooms and tomatoes. I truly appreciated it after a crappy, rainy day with a cold.
