R: There's something very appealing about DIY projects. If I owned my apartment I might just be tempted to invest a mini fortune at Home Depot to make things a little homier around here. But since I am afraid to put so much as a nail into the wall, I tend to buy only light bulbs on my trips to the HD. That doesn't stop me from spending a thrilling half hour oggling hardware and light fixtures, though.
Home Depot, the new weekend yuppie indulgence.
C: It was a deceptively sunny day, and the wind drove us indoors when my ears could no longer stand the cold beating. We finished our snack at Panda Express (don't pretend like you don't like the orange chicken...mmm) with the usual fortune cookie. It advised us, "Plan to Have Some Fun." I'm sure we will.
